Professional and courteous staff, clean rooms, and a gorgeous building! Check out the gourmet food store next door - I had an excellent roast beef sandwich! In the restaurant itself, I thought the lamb stew was a bit bland and the meats on the full irish breakfast a bit overcooked and dry. The location can't be beat.The flowers in the courtyard were spectacular!

Gleesons Food and Service outshines many hotels/Guesthouses in Ireland. Had amazing Seafood Chowder - the best this summer and Pork Belly - WOW. Make sure Roscommon is on your travel plans SOON!! and before you leave pop into the Artisan Food & Wine Shop to take home goodies!

What can I say but a lovely place to stay. I would recommend Gleeson's to all my family and friends. All the staff were welcoming and both my children (aged 5yrs & 1yrs) just loved the guesthouse experience. The food and restaurant was outstandingand not to forget the staff who were all welcoming and all looked after us well. We will be coming back very soon.

I have stayed here three times, and I must say it is my favourite hotel in Ireland , staff are great, Eamon Mary and Cait , are fantastic hosts, and very helpful! Rooms are stunning, food is fantastic, chef went out of way as we were late for breakfast but it was no problem, great people great hotel

Great Irish family hospitality. The food was fabulous, regardless if your wanting a scone and coffee or a steak dinner and service impeccable.
